Identification of Misbehaviour Activities in Mobile Adhoc Networks

چکیده
Mobile Ad hoc Network is a collection of mobile nodes and it creates temporary network for the communication. Each node transferred the message to the other node by using wireless network. This network is not fully secured when it transfer the message. So that it needs to protect from an attacker. For identify the malicious node, already used TWOACK and Misbehavior Report Authentication (MRA) concept. This has time delay for detect the attacker. To avoid this issue, Fast random key is proposed in this paper, which reduce the time to identify the attacker in the network. The authentication is important for this process.

Cheating on the CW and RTS/CTS Mechanisms in Single-Hop IEEE 802.11e Networks
This paper presents a work in progress which deals with the problem of node misbehaviour in ad-hoc networks. A realistic approach is used to determine the impact of contention window manipulation and RTS/CTS cheating. It is explained why IEEE 802.11e ad-hoc networks are more prone to misbehaviour. The paper presents simulation results related to the mentioned types of misbehaviour. The analysis...
متن کاملMisbehaviour Analysis of 802 . 11 Mobile Ad - Hoc Networks – Contention Window Cheating
This paper presents an analysis of MAC layer misbehaviour in 802.11 mobile ad-hoc networks. Such misbehaviour can be performed, e.g., to achieve greater throughput or extended battery life. Focus is put on actions which are both easy to perform and give substantial benefits to the misbehaving node. In particular, the new IEEE 802.11e standard, which defines QoS enhancements, is taken into accou...
متن کاملMerging independent mobile adhoc networks-A new methodology for autoconfiguration of IP addresses
Autoconfiguration of mobile nodes is an important issue on self-organizing mobile adhoc network. Autoconfiguration is needed to identify mobile nodes in the network uniquely. This is a critical problem to assign unique IP addresses to the mobile nodes when two or more than two independent adhoc networks merges to form a single network. Because when two independent mobile adhoc networks are merg...
متن کاملDesigning the Attitude toward Advertising Model through Mobile Social Networks
The aim of this research is to help advance a better understanding of digital advertising innovation adoption, consumer acceptance of customized advertising, and the influence of customized advertising on product purchase intent via a mobile social network. To this end, two types of questionnaires, including an open questionnaire filled up by 16 experts and university professors was designed to...
متن کاملDistributed Algorithms in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks
A mobile adhoc network can be defined as a network that is spontaneously deployed and is independent of any static network. The network consists of mobile nodes with wireless interfaces and has an arbitrary dynamic topology. The network suffers from frequent link formation and disruption due to the mobility of the nodes. Distributed algorithms cannot be directly used for the mobile adhoc networ...
